Another shutout by Hudson as Lady Bulldogs improve to 2-0.

Sophomore keeper Katie Hudson recorded her second straight shutout to open the campaign, lifting the Rolla High School girls’ soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Republic Tuesday.

The Lady Bulldogs, now 2-0, got both goals from senior forward Nicole Howard in the first half.

Howard scored on a pass from freshman Morgan Gabriele and then later got her second on a pass from sophomore Emma Laney.
Rolla easily won the junior varsity game 7-0.

Amber Walters scored three goals for the Rolla jayvee squad, now 1-1, while Sierra LaClaire had two and Caroline Victor and Ally Melson one each. Marissa Hill had two assists and Morgan Phenix one. Calista McCormick record the jayvee shutout.

The Lady Bulldogs will host the Rolla Classic over the weekend. On Friday Rolla plays Washington at 5 p.m. at the Bray Sports Complex and on Saturday RHS meets Springfield Catholic at 9 a.m. and Northwest Cedar Hill at noon.
