Officers responded to the 300 block of Parker Lane for a report of harassment. Upon arrival, Officers discovered that a female, age 23, of St. James, was the reported victim of harassment.
Officers responded to the 600 block of North Jefferson Street for a report of property damage. Officers discovered that a female, 21, of Rolla, was the reported victim of property damage whereas the door handle to her vehicle was broken off from the door. Value of loss is estimated at $50.00.
Officers responded to the 400 block of St. Francis Street for an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was seen to be displaying a notice of impound sticker after 48 hours. The vehicle was left abandoned after 48 hours and officers authorized the tow of the vehicle.
Officers responded to the 200 block of North Bourbeuse Street for a motor vehicle accident, which occurred the previous day. Vehicle #1, a 2008, Dodge, Magnum owned and operated by Dennis Springerley of St. James, Missouri. Vehicle #2, a 2003, Chevrolet, Impala, owned by Ronald Reising of St. James, Missouri, which was operated by Emily Reising of St. James, Missouri. The accident occurred when Vehicle #1 was traveling southbound on Industrial Drive and Vehicle #2 failed to yield to oncoming traffic while exiting a parking lot, causing Vehicle #1 to strike Vehicle #2.
There was minor damage to Vehicle #1, and moderate damage to Vehicle #2. There were no reports of injuries at the scene.
Officers responded to the 800 block of North Jefferson for a Stealing. Upon arrival, Officers discovered that a local business was the victim of a stealing whereas a tire, valued at $100 was taken without the owner's consent. Grant Logan Gaither, 25, St. James, and Michael Eugene Gaither, 49, St. James, were arrested and booked into the Phelps County Jail where they are awaiting charges.
Officers responded to the 500 block of Sidney Street for a report of a peace disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers discovered that a male, age 29, of St. James and a female, age 24, of St. James, were involved in a verbal altercation.
