A late night domestic altercation led to a Pulaski County man being stabbed and a woman being arrested Saturday, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
A news release from the sheriff's office states that shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, a 31-year-old man from rural Waynesville called and notified emergency services that he had just been stabbed and was requesting medical assistance.
Pulaski County sheriff's deputies and ambulance district personnel responded to a home located on Taylor Lane, where they made contact with a male subject who had been stabbed.
According to the involved parties, the domestic dispute between the couple led to a physical altercation, which eventually resulted in the stabbing.
The male victim was transported by ambulance to a Springfield, Mo., hospital, where he is recovering from surgery and listed in stable condition.
The woman was arrested by deputies at the scene and is currently incarcerated in the Pulaski County Jail awaiting formal charges.
