Jean Lea McDaniels
70, of Rolla
Jean Lea McDaniels was born on June 7, 1943 in Wamego, Kansas, to the late Albert and Helen Brown. Jean was a loving and hard working woman with the ambition to succeed and heart to give. She lived her life based on her motto, "You work hard and play even harder." She lived, laughed, and sought a life full of joy and she accomplished those things. Jean was a woman of many hats and wore them all proudly and justly. She received her wings and leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life: daughter, as she would say, "My one and only Deb Kay" Debby Kay Patterson, of Atlanta, GA; brothers, James Brown, of Dixon, MO, and John Brown, of Rolla; her sister, Sharlene Rimiller, of Jefferson City, MO; granddaughters, Tamera Patterson-Edwards and Delise Patterson; nephews, Brad, Brady, and Brandon Brown, Michael, Matthew, and Eric Rimiller, Joseph Johnson and John Brown II; nieces, Megan and Madison Brown; seven great grandchildren and a host of great friends. On December 23, 2013, Jean joined her sisters June Marie Brown (twin sister) and Janice Gilbert, who preceded her in death.
A memorial celebration of Jean's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
