A Rolla man was arrested Monday in connection to an active methamphetamine lab found west of Rolla. Roger D. Stroup, 49, has been charged with first-degree drug trafficking, according to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department.

A Rolla man was arrested Monday in connection to an active methamphetamine lab found west of Rolla.
Roger D. Stroup, 49, has been charged with  first-degree drug trafficking, according to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department.
Stroup was charged after officers with the South Central Drug Task Force, Rolla Police Department and sheriff’s department concluded a short-term narcotics investigation that resulted a search warrant that was served in the 13000 block of County Road 7020 west of Rolla Monday.
During a search of the property, officers located an active meth lab, a quantity of meth, meth lab materials and drug paraphernalia.
Stroup’s bond was set at $100,000.
Further arrests are anticipated in connection with this investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
