Rested Wolves blast St. Elizabeth, 75-47

After an extended rest due to the weather, the Newburg High School boys' basketball team returned to the court on Tuesday and blasted St. Elizabeth 75-47 in non-conference action.

The Wolves, now 3-0, had to battle from behind, however, after St. Elizabeth bolted to a 25-16 lead after the first period.

The Wolves grabbed control by blitzing St. Elizabeth in the third period. Newburg outscored the St. Elizabeth Hornets 25-4 in the quarter to go up 58-37 heading into the final period.
