81, of Newburg

William (Bill) Hudson Sr. of Newburg passed away December 7, 2013 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 81 years.
Bill Hudson was born April 3, 1932 in Hardy, Arkansas the son of Henry and Lola (Pauline) "Lawrey" Hudson. Bill worked as a mechanic and owned and operated Bills Generator Shop in Ontario, CA, for many years. "A combustion motor was his life." He enjoyed riding his motorcycle cross country, the outdoors, hunting and fishing and socializing with his family and friends. He was a Shriner in Springfield and Masonic Lodge member for more than 25 years in Newburg.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters, Helen Masterson and Lori Collier; 3 brothers, Eulas, Cleatis and Bobby; also a brother-in-law Jimmy Clark and a sister-in-law Sylvia Hudson.
Bill was survived by his wife Mary Hudson of Newburg, his daughter Carolyn Ward and husband Russell of Tennessee, his son William Hudson Jr. and wife Charlotte of Tennessee, 6 grandchildren, Josette, Larry, Josh, Tony, Heath, and Brandi, and several great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Norma Norman and husband Bob of Wappapello, and Della Clark of Newburg, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for the public will be Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 5:00pm through 8:00pm The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11:00am at the Teague And Sons Funeral Home in Newburg, MO. Interment will be at the Pea-Ridge Roach Cemetery in Doolittle, Missouri. All arrangements were made under the direction of the Teague an Sons Funeral Home in Newburg, MO.
