A Rolla man was arrested earlier this week on charges of stealing, property damage and theft.
Shohn E. Rowell, 40, has been charged with felony stealing, first-degree property damage and theft of electrical wiring.
According to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 10000 block of County Road 3060 (Old St. James Road) Monday, Nov. 25, for a report of stealing.
During the on-scene investigation, it was discovered that numerous items had been taken without the owner’s permission.
Some of the items included a riding lawn mower, two air conditioners, a tool shed, copper wire and copper plumbing.
Deputies developed suspect information and later made contact with Rowell, 40, who gave consent to search a residence on Green Acres Drive. During a search of the residence, all of the stolen property was located.
Rowell was incarcerated in the Phelps County Jail. His bond was set at $100,000.
