"I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat"

"I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat"

Unlike people, cartoon characters don't always keep the name they start out with. Orson was a generic and naked (pink) baby bird who appeared in "A Tale of Two Kitties" on November 21, 1942. When "Birdy and the Beast" came out, Orson was named Tweety. By 1945, thanks to the censors who objected to a "naked" bird, Tweety was sporting feathers.

Happy Birthday, Tweety
