  • OAT's fall production will take audience to Narnia

  • The novel "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" will come to life on the stage at Ozark Actors Theatre later this week.
    Opening night of OAT's fall production of the play "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," is set for this Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cedar Street Playhouse, 701 N. Cedar St. in Rolla.
    Performances will be appropriate for the whole family.
    The play follows the journey of the Pevensie siblings — Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy — through a wardrobe to the land of Narnia, where they encounter all of the characters readers of the book know —Tumnus the fawn, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, Aslan the Lion and even the White Witch.
    After opening night, shows will continue Thursdays through Sundays until Nov. 24. The complete schedule is below:
    • Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
    • Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m.
    • Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Friday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Saturday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
    • Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m.
    Tickets are only $16 for reserved seating or $12 for students/children and active military personnel.
    Family four-packs for $40 are only available via phone or in-person at the box office.
    Special Narnia dinner theatre tickets are available for Saturday, Nov. 16, for $50. The night includes a four-course dinner at 5 p.m. and reserved seating for the performance at 7:30 p.m.
