Top-seeded Bulldogs blast Marshfield Thursday in semifinals, 10-0.

The top-seeded Rolla High School boys' soccer team advanced to the championship game of the Missouri Class 2 District 10 Tournament by blasting fifth-seeded Marshfield 10-0 Thursday in semifinal play.

The semifinal game was backed up two days due to field conditions.
Rolla, 24-2 and ranked No. 2 in the final Missouri Class 2 regular-season poll, will meet the winner of the Jefferson City Helias/Bolivar semifinal game for the district crown.

The district championship game is slated for 6 p.m. tonight in Bolivar.

The District 10 champion will play the District 9 champion - either St. Francis Borgia or Union - in Class 2 Sectional playoff action on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

On Thursday the Bulldogs got a shutout from senior keeper Gage Scurlock.

Scurlock got more than enough offensive support, as seniors Aaron Froehlich and Austin Parks each netted four goals while Nate Kramme and Logan Houf each had one.

Houf had three assists while Hunter Short added two and Froehlich, Parks, Aiden Gelles and Caleb Homan each had one.
