Dodge, Otte honored during Lady Bulldog victory.

The Rolla High School volleyball team swept past Ozark Conference rival Waynesville 27-25, 25-21 Thursday on Lady Bulldog Senior Night at the RHS gym.

The win moves the Lady Bulldogs to a 17-9 overall mark.

RHS senior players Emily Dodge and Gabe Otte were honored during the Senior Night ceremonies.

"It was a great conference and district win for us," said RHS head coach Julie Carver. "The girls really came out and played with heart and desire and executed our game plan. This is a big win for our program. I am very proud of the team effort on the court. It is always special to get a win on Senior Night. We will definitely miss Gabe and Emily. They have been great leaders for us this year."

Dodge had eight kills and three digs for the Lady Bulldogs while Otte had five kills and seven digs; junior Kelsi James had 19 assists and seven digs; sophomore Vasilisa Shamina had five kills and 10 digs, and junior Jessi Kaczmarek had 12 digs.
Rolla also won the junior varsity match 25-19, 20-25, 25-23.

The Rolla varsity squad is to play in the Eldon Tournament on Saturday while the Rolla freshman squad is at the Waynesville Freshman Tourney.
