Coterie of Missouri University of Science and Technology recently hosted its fall scholarship fundraiser — the Progressive Tailgate and Poker Walk — Sunday, Oct. 13, in Rolla.
The event brought out a large crowd who visited four homes in the Oak Knoll neighborhood, sampling tailgate fare.
Included in the event this year were the homes of Lina and Don Madison, Kay and Bob DuBois, Julie and Kurt Kosbar and Dilek Acar.
Participants walked from home to home, collecting a poker card at each location. The best hand at the last location was the winner.
This year's overall winner was Kate Sullivan, who won two tickets to the 2014 St. Pat's Ball.
