Lady Bulldog junior moves on to sectionals.

Junior Kelsey Moreland of the Rolla High School girls' golf team advanced to Missouri Class 2 Sectional action with her finish in Monday's Missouri Class 2 District 4 Tournament at A.L. Gustin Golf Course.

As a team the RHS Lady Bulldogs placed 10th.

Jefferson City High and Columbia Rock Bridge tied for the team title with 352 each. However, Jefferson City won the district team crown on the fifth-golfer tiebreaker. Timberland finished third in the 11-team field at 359. Rolla shot 495.

The top two teams, and top 15 individuals not on those teams, move on to Class 2 Sectional action, to be held next Monday at Insbrook Resort Golf Course in St. Charles.

Helias' Jenna Kosmatka was meet medalist with nine-over-par 79.
Moreland made the sectional field by finishing tied for 16th overall Monday with 97.

Also for RHS Putul Barr shot 109, Madison Mara 135, Andrea Sapaugh 154 and Delaney Lawson 169.
