    The ABLE Commission will hold a walk-n-talk around Ber Juan Park Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 8 a.m. For more information call the Holloway House at 364-4357.
    Mercy Clinic–Rolla will hold a health fair Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 7-10 a.m. Mercy will offer the following free screenings: blood screening analysis, which requires fasting for 8-10 hours before,  PSA test for prostate cancer screening, DEXA bone density scan, vision screening, blood pressure and height/weight checks and a written sleep screening.     Eggs and Issues, with speakers Sen. Dan Brown and Rep. Keith Frederick, will take place Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 7:30-9 a.m. at Oak Meadow Country Club.     First Presbyterian Church will host the Rev. Wilfred Orr as the 2013 International Peacemaker Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 4-6 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the church, located at 919 E. 10th St. in Rolla. The public is invited. Orr will share his experience of working proactively thought the Ballynafeigh Clergy Fellowship in Newtownbreda, Ireland, during "The Troubles.” For more information contact Frank Jessop at 364-2433.
    The Korean War Veterans Association monthly meeting will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Newman Road in Rolla Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m. Jerry Bumpus, chair of South Central Regional Veterans Group, will talk about the regional veterans park.
    The Capable Kids and Families play group will host music pups Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 11-11:30 a.m. at The Community Partnership, 1101 Hauck Drive, Rolla. For information about The Community Partnership's Capable Kids and Families Program, contact Jean Darnell at 368-2849.
