  • On the dawn of Senator Ted Cruz’s heroic 21 hour speech, the Senate was teed up for a potentially historic decision. They had their chance to defund or delay Obamacare, a plan so flawed its author and Senate Finance Chair Senator Max Baucus and Senate leader Harry Reid, both Democrats, labeled it a “train wreck.” Our President, Barack Obama has lied serially about keeping one’s docs, insurance plans and savings etc., etc., ad nauseam. Barry has broken his own law many times by giving waivers to big business, Congress and to himself and family and his administration.
    The result?
Democrats chose politics over American citizens. Worse, they had the help of many Republican Senators who gave comfort to the Socialists, AKA Democrats.
The good news is that we have on record those who voted for the plan as the disaster it’s known for today vs. the newly passed plan that went unread intentionally by a Congress. Those legislators felt it necessary to follow Speaker Pelosi into the Dullards Hall of Shame when she implored them to pass Obamacare so they could see what was in it.
Several Republican Congressmen took to the floor or any media mike they could get ahold of in order to lambast the brave stand of Ted Cruz. The freshman Texas Senator was representing millions of his Texas supporters and most of the USA.
The disrespect they showed the brave efforts of Cruz, his friends and colleagues was worthy of what British Prime Minister Chamberlain did to the world by allowing Czechoslovakia to be conquered by Germany as a sacrifice to Hitler to gain the Socialists’ goodwill and thus peace.
How did that work out, Senator McCain? Did you give that any thought at all when you took phony outrage on the floor of the Senate, befitting a spot in Greg Gutfeld’s sequel to The Joy of Hate?  McCain at least admits Cruz was representing the will of his constituents. Were you representing your fellow Arizonians, Senator McCain?
A war hero, Senator McCain, made a big deal about this allusion in my last article, one he was never mentioned in. He defended himself and his family and in so doing, missed the point of my analogy. He proclaimed that this besmirched the character of his grandfather and father who fought in WW2. By McCain’s logic, we should applaud Chamberlain’s decision and damn the thousands of Brits who were killed. Just like Cruz, Winston Churchill saw the threat and repeatedly warned the world about the match Chamberlain lit on the gas-soaked, narcissistic/schizoid brain of one Adolf Hitler.
As a side note, Churchill replaced Chamberlain as Prime Minister and valiantly led Britain to victory alongside the USA and Hitler enabler, former Nazi ally, Russia.
Page 2 of 2 - My point was if someone had stopped Hitler at Austria or even Czechoslovakia, as der Fuehror feared, he likely would have been contained—thus saving the 65 to 75 million souls killed and the need to fight the war by my father and uncle and McCain’s kin.
Victories often occur when you see no way to succeed but refuse to give up anyway
Let us all remember, it was McCain who shirked his duty as a Senator and presidential candidate to inform the American people about the Socialist/Communist/Islamist background of Barack Hussein Obama. If that wasn’t bad enough, McCain’s campaign shut down Sarah Palin in her attempt to tell the truth about Obama. This appeasement led to Governor Palin’s destruction by the media who smelled blood in the water. By the way, does anyone remember that before Sarah Palin was picked by John McCain to be his VP candidate she had the highest approval rating of any governor in the union?
In fact, despite her restraints, Governor Palin nearly dragged John McCain to victory. She drew four million more votes than Mitt Romney after Obama’s disastrous first term. Seems a pattern has emerged, eh Senator? Maybe if you had spoken the truth about Barack Obama you’d be in the fifth year of your second term.
    Remember the Sequester!
A few words about the polls: right now the Republicans are down a bit, just like they were in the beginnings of the Sequester.  Soon, America will realize the lies Obama made on Obamacare despite a press who hides them. Plus, the lack of any horrible effect of shutting government down temporarily will continue Obama’s and the Dems number free-fall—this with a fresh update on who voted for a known disaster and who voted for a brand new bill.
One has to trust the fact that the McCain and Romney effect on the Republican base was tantamount to a freezing shower on a honeymoon. There just wasn’t enough love OR lust to tear disgusted Republicans out of their homes to vote for what they saw as suck-ups who are no better than the Socialists in power.
Ted Cruz and his followers are the new standard bearers of the Republican Party.
And not a moment too soon.
