  • The Rolla High School boys' soccer team captured the Pacific Tournament championship for the fourth year in a row on Thursday, whipping host Pacific 6-1 in the title game.
Rolla, ranked third this week in the first Missouri Class 2 state rankings of the season, improves to 4-0.
Senior Aaron Froehlich netted three goals for Rolla while Thomas MacCash, Austin Parks and Logan Short each had one.
Hunter Short and Logan Houf each had two assists while Nate Kramme added one.
"We played much better than we did on Wednesday night in the semifinals," said RHS head coach Mike Howard. "We were able to give everyone a lot of playing time. We have a rough week next week with five tough games - four of them on the road."
