  • Ben Menary clubbed four home runs and drove in eight runs to power Grisham Backhoe & Excavating to a 20-5 victory over J&S Small Engine Repair in the opening week of Rolla Coed Fall Softball League Middle Division play Sept. 5 at Ber Juan Park.
    Bryan Furse had a homer, double and single for the winners while Michael Clardy had a homer and single. Toby Lewis hit a pair of homers and Tony Marzuco had three hits and scored twice for J&S Small Engine Repair.
    In other coed games from Sept. 5:
    Middle Division
    Phelps County Bank 18, J&S Small Engine Repair 8: Wes Clover had three hits and scored three runs while Travis Johns and Landon Freeman each had three hits and scored twice as Phelps County Bank won. Marzuco had a homer, triple and single while Lewis had a homer and single and Billy Rhodes had a homer for J&S.
    Grisham Backhoe & Excavating 23, Central Missouri Sportscards 3: Furse had a homer, triple, double and scored three runs while Ty Whitelock had a triple, two singles and scored three times and Ashley Grisham had a triple, two singles and scored three runs as Grisham Backhoe won. Matt Limmer tripled and scored and Katie Curtis singled and scored for Central Missouri Sportscards.
    Central Missouri Sportscards 28, Phelps County Bank 5: J.P Maxwell had a homer, double, two singles and scored three times while Rob Hribar had five hits and scored four runs; Krista Limmer had two triples, two singles and scored four times and Jason Foster had two triples, a double, a single and scored four runs as Central Missouri Sportscards won. Josh McBride had a homer and two singles and Travis Johns had a homer for Phelps County Bank.
    Sunny Day Farms Pumpkin Patch 10, Christian Fellowship 2: Nando Galarza had a homer, double and single while Gary French had a homer and two singles and Krista Gann had three hits as Pumpkin Patch won. Louis Caroll homered for Christian Fellowship.
    Christian Fellowship 11, Katie @ Tara Day Spa 8: Carrol had a homer, triple, double and single and Tianna McBroom had a triple, single and scored twice as Christian Fellowship won. Davy Watkins had two homers and Katie Rask had two hits and scored three runs for Katie @ Tara Day Spa.
    Sunny Day Farms Pumpkin Patch 18, Speakeasy 8: Galarza had a homer and single while Jarrod Grayson had a double, single and scored three runs and French had a triple, single and scored twice as Pumpkin Patch won. Trevor Swearingen had a homer and scored twice and Jason Locklear had three hits and scored twice for Speakeasy.

    No-Name 25, Ozark River Portable Sinks 6: Carter Nottke hit for the cycle with a homer, triple, double and two singles while Shawn Porter had a homer, double and scored three runs and Ryan Mahoney had a homer, double, single and scored four times as No-Name won. Travis Bellue had two hits and scored a run and Matt Bellue had two doubles and a single for Ozark River.
    Tater Patch 17, Party Pro 10: Christian Santos had a homer, two triples and scored three runs while Sara VanHooser had a triple, two doubles and scored three times and Justin Martin had a double, single and scored three runs as Tater Patch won. Gabe Medina had a triple, single and scored twice and Virgil Richards had two hits and scored two runs for Party Pro.
    Tater Patch 19, MS&T Staff 3: Christian Santos had two homers, a single and scored three times while Morgan Kleeschulte had a triple, two singles and scored three runs and Chris Kamprath had a homer and double as Tater Patch won. Samantha Henson and Kevin Chambers each had a hit and scored a run for S&T Staff.
    Ballhogs 22, Master Batters 2: Jimmy Vineyard had a triple, two singles and scored three times while Kim Reese had two singles and scored four runs and Steven Parker had two triples, a single and scored twice as Ballhogs won. Crawford Binns had the lone hit for Master Batters.
