The United Way of South Central Missouri will kick off the 2013/2014 campaign this Friday, Sept. 13, at 8 a.m. at the Rolla Visitor Center located at 1311 Kingshighway.


The United Way of South Central Missouri will kick off the 2013/2014 campaign this Friday, Sept. 13, at 8 a.m. at the Rolla Visitor Center located at 1311 Kingshighway.
The United Way campaign will run from Sept. 13 through Nov. 7, 2013, with a goal of raising $140,000.
Local non-profit agencies that benefit from United Way donations include: CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates), 2CM Campus & Community Ministry, ABLE Commission, Red Cross Heart of Missouri, Boy Scouts of America, Community Care Clinic, Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland, GRACE, Habitat for Humanity, Healthy Families, Phelps County 4-H Council, Prevention Consultants, Rolla Nutrition Site, Senior Companions, Special Olympics, St. James Caring Center, St. James Golden Age Center, Salvation Army-Phelps County, Salvation Army-Maries County and Maries County Council on Aging.
