Lady Bulldogs drop second straight.

The Rolla High School softball team dropped its second straight game on Friday, falling to Union 6-3 in non-conference action at the RHS Softball Field.

Only two of Union's runs were earned, as the Lady Bulldogs made three errors.

Senior Jade DeShurley was the starting and winning pitcher, allowing seven hits and six walks while fanning four.

Rolla, now 4-2, outhit Union 9-7.

DeShurley was 2-for-4 with a double and run scored while Anna Feeler was 2-for-4 with a run scored; Brooke Maxwell had a hit, run and RBI; Baeleigh Barr and Kayla Reed each had a hit and RBI, and Avery Landers and Sydney Wells each had a hit.

Union also won the junior varsity game 9-1. Skylar Turner was the losing Rolla jayvee pitcher. Jayden Weimer, Taylor Hance, Chayce Ayars, Alcina Reese, Hayley Gremp and Meredith Sowers had hits for the Rolla jayvee squad.

The Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to play in Springfield against Glendale in Ozark Conference play Monday (Sept. 9) (4:30 p.m.).
