The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce will host Bulldog Pride Night Friday, Sept. 6, prior to the Rolla High School first home football game. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. and continue until game time at 7 p.m. There will be free hot dogs, soda and giveaways during the event. This year there will be a photo booth available. To add to the excitement of the evening, the Rolla High School band and cheerleaders will be performing. The event is free, but the cost is $4 to attend the football game.

Rolla Men of Song, an ensemble of the Rolla Choral Arts Society, which is made up of male singers from students in junior high school to adults, will begin rehearsals for their 10th season. The ensemble will rehearse from 7-7:45 a.m. every Friday in the music room at Rolla Junior High School. A light breakfast is served at the end of each rehearsal. The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a First Friday Coffee Friday, Sept. 6, at Drury University, 1034 South Bishop Ave., Rolla, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Attendees should bring their business cards for networking and door prizes.

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive Friday, Sept. 6, form 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Havener Center, 1346 University Drive, on the Missouri S&T campus, Rolla.

Arts Rolla will host an opening reception Friday, Sept. 6, from 5-7 p.m. at The Centre, 1200 N. Holloway St., Rolla, to celebrate the opening of the September exhibit, which features 78 works by 15 different artists from the Licking, Mo., area. The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain on display throughout the month of September.
