Bulldogs clipped by Lebanon in first official game on Lions Memorial's new synthetic turf.
The Rolla High School junior varsity football team opened its season by falling to Lebanon 25-22 on Tuesday at Lions Memorial Field.
It was the first official game played on the new synthetic turf at Lions Memorial Field.
Landon Maynard, Lee Clancy and Keegan Chrisco all scored touchdowns for Rolla.
The jayvee Bulldogs had more than 200 passing yards and 100 rushing yards. Sophomore quarterback Zach Brown threw two touchdown passes.
Rolla's jayvee squad plays again at Springfield Kickapoo on Monday, Sept. 9 (5:30 p.m.).
