The Rolla High School softball team kept its record perfect on Tuesday, moving to 4-0 with a 4-2 non-conference victory over Pleasant Hope at the RHS Softball Field.
Senior pitcher Jade DeShurley went all seven innings for RHS, allowing two runs on eight hits and seven walks while fanning seven.
Each team had eight hits and the Lady Bulldogs overcame four errors.
Avery Landers was 2-for-2 with two runs scored for Rolla while Kayla Reed had a hit, walk and two RBI; Anna Feeler an RBI double; Sydney Wells a double, walk and run scored; Maegan Ray a hit and RBI; Amy Black a hit and walk; Brooke Maxwell a hit, and Baeleigh Barr scored a run.
Pleasant Hope did not have enough to field a junior varsity team, so the Rolla jayvee squad played the Pleasant Hope varsity team and lost 10-2.
The Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to open Ozark Conference play by hosting Springfield Parkview at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the RHS Field.
Rolla has won four consecutive league championships and has a current OC winning streak of 30 games.
