“Rollin’ Through Hollywood” will be the theme of this year’s Railroad Days festival Saturday.
The festival starts at 9 a.m. with a prayer service led by members of the local ministerial alliance and it goes non-stop all day and into the night, wrapping up with the traditional street dance.
In between, there’ll be a parade, contests and music.
Here’s the schedule for the 41st annual Railroad Days, which will be held in downtown Crocker.
9 a.m.: Ministerial Alliance prayer service.
9:30 a.m.: Amazing Grace Fellowship praise band.
10:30 a.m.: Barney and Jeanette Minix.
11:30 a.m.: Baby contest.
Noon: Parade line-up.
1:00 p.m.: Parade.
1:30 p.m.: Bike show.
2 p.m.: Crowning of Miss Crocker, Prince and Princess.
2:30 p.m.: Amazing Grace puppet show.
3 p.m.: Judging and winners of the baking contest, bike show and bicycle contest.
4 p.m.: Contests and music. Contests include pie eating, frozen T-shirt and watermelon.
6:30 p.m.: Grahm Walch Band.
8-11 p.m.: Street dance, featuring the music of Flashback.
Other activities that will be carried on throughout the day will be face painting, the fire department dunking booth and water balloon toss.
Also there will be plenty of food available to eat.
