Two men have been arrested on narcotics and weapons violations after Phelps County sheriff's deputies on Monday found weapons, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia at a gas station in St. James.

Two men have been arrested on narcotics and weapons violations after Phelps County sheriff's deputies on Monday found weapons, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia at a gas station in St. James.
According to a press release from the Phelps County Sheriff's Department, warrants have been issued for Darryl J. Brooks on three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and one count of possession of a controlled substance and for James D. Trowbridge for unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
Both Brooks and Trowbridge were incarcerated in the Phelps County Jail and their bonds have been set at $100,000 each.
Sheriff's deputies along with St. James police officers responded to a report of suspicious people at the Mobile on the Run in the 100 block of Highway B.
As a result of these arrests, officers located handguns, shotguns, methamphetamine, marijuana, knives and drug paraphernalia with the two suspects.
