Ozark Actors Theatre is gearing up to present “Into the Woods,” the third and final show of Season 26, which will premiere Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Cedar Street Playhouse.

"Into the Woods" by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, and directed by Jason Cannon is the last show of this season, which had a theme of Fairy Tales and Fables.
Performances will be held on the following dates and times:
• Thursday, Aug. 1, at 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 8, at 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m.
This musical features a cast of professional actors from New York, Florida, St. Louis as well as local talent from Rolla and St. James.
"Into the Woods," a mash-up of fractured fairy tales, is one of Sondheim's most popular works.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for active military or groups of 15-plus and $12 for college students and children 17 and under. For group sales, call the box office at 573-364-9523, extension 100.

The 2013 summer season at OAT includes a final one-night-only cabaret, "Once I Was" featuring Actors' Equity Association actress Brittany Proia, who is appearing as the baker's wife in "Into the Woods."
