  • Henson's homers pace Grisham Backhoe

  • Chad Henson blasted a pair of homers, a double, a single and scored three times to help Grisham Backhoe & Excavating get past J&S Small Engine Repair 23-3 on Thursday, July 25 in Rolla Coed Softball League Middle Division action at Ber Juan Park.
    Michael Clardy had a triple, double, two singles and scored four runs for the winners while Bryan Furse had two doubles, three singles and scored four times, Dustin Woody had a homer and two singles and Heather Moriarity had four hits and scored three times. Marc Mabe had a homer and Trevor White tripled and scored for J&S Small Engine Repair.

    Middle Division
    Grisham Backhoe & Excavating 14, American Home Builders 11: Henson smacked two homers, a double and scored three runs while Furse had a homer and two singles and Tori Whitelock and Clardy each had two hits and scored twice as Gresham Backhoe won. White had two homers, a double, a single and scored three times while Duane Spurgin had a homer and double for American Home Builders.

    Wave Internet 14, American Home Builders 13: Travis Parsons’ two-run double scored Tommy Martin with the game-winner in the bottom of the fifth inning as Wave Internet won. Martin had a homer, double, two singles and scored four times for the winners while Chad Henson had a homer and two doubles and Parsons had four hits and scored three times. White had three homers while Spurgin had two hits and scored three runs for American Home Builders.

    Jarvis Home Improvement 16, Wave Internet 10: James Gapsch had two homers, a single and scored three times while Mike Sparks homered and Tyler Sinnott and Ashley Hoener each had three hits and scored three runs as Jarvis Home Improvement won. Chad Henson had a homer, double and scored three runs while Kyle Henson had a homer and double for Wave Internet.

    Middle B Division
    Central Missouri Sportscards 19, 4J Archery/Mike’s Car Care 12: Jason Foster had four hits and scored four runs while Rob Hribar had two hits and scored three times and Trevor Swearingen had three hits and scored twice as Central Missouri Sportscards won. Amy Skyles had three hits and scored two runs and Brian Arthur had a double, single and scored twice for 4J Archery/Mike’s Car Care.

    Katie @ Tara Day Spa 12, 4J Archery/Mike’s Car Care 11: Brian Baker scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning, lifting Katie @ Tara Day Spa. Doy Graham had a homer and scored twice for the winners while Katie Rask and Travis Blunt each had three hits. Kevin Barr had a homer, double and single and Nathan Brown had a triple and scored twice for 4J Archery/Mike’s Car Care.

    Phelps County Bank 11, Katie @ Tara Day Spa 10: Amber Mathenia scored the winning run in the seventh inning as PCB won. Mathenia had three hits and scored three runs for the winners while Travis Johns had two hits and scored three runs and Chad Snelson and Lauri Freeman each had two hits and scored twice. Blunt had a triple, double and scored three times and Rask and Graham each had a hit and scored twice for Katie @ Tara Day Spa.

    High-Tech Roofing 13, Phelps County Bank 10: Masen Ridenhour had a triple, double and scored twice while Sean Kelley had a homer and Kaitlyn Meier had two hits and scored twice as High-Tech Roofing won. Josh McBride had a triple, double and two singles and Cody Woody had a homer and single for PCB.
    Lower Division
    S&T Staff 18, Misfits 13: Jesse Singleton had two hits and scored three runs while Kevin Chambers and Don Howdeshell each had a hit and scored three times as S&T Staff won. Jessie Cotner had three hits and scored two runs while Nick Fazzio had two doubles and scored twice for Misfits.
    Team Undecided 18, Tater Patch 5: Alex Baruth had a homer while Shane Stark had a triple and three singles and James Lewis had two hits and scored three times as Team Undecided won. Justin Martin had a homer, double and single and Chris Kamprath had a double and two singles for Tater Patch.
    Rolla Bombers 10, Benchmark Health Care 2: Matt Bellue had three doubles and scored three runs while Jessica Hampton had a single and scored twice as Rolla Bombers won. Brett Gresham homered and singled for Benchmark Healthcare.
    Karma 19, Party Pro 9: Justin Hackworth had five hits while Christian Santos had a homer, two doubles and a single and Tyler Powell had two hits and scored four runs as Karma won. Ken Clayton and Cathy Pryor each scored twice for Party Pro.
