The Missouri S&T women's basketball team announced on Thursday the signing of four players for the upcoming 2013-14 campaign.
The recruiting class consists of one high school player, two junior-college transfers and one Division I transfer. With the loss of four seniors off of last year's squad head coach Alan Eads had some holes to fill and is very high on this incoming class.
"I think this a very good recruiting class," Eads said. "We lost four very good players that contributed greatly to the program and have some big shoes to fill as all four of those kids started for us last year.
"These four players are going to be great for us as all will see valuable time and help us get to the next level with the kids we've got coming back. We're excited about getting them here and getting started."
The players making up this year's recruiting class are: Elsie Greenwood, Jaaron Kassanavoid, Mia Wesley and Taylor Manuel.
Greenwood, a 5-9 freshman guard, from Breckenridge, Mo., played at Penney High School in Hamilton, Mo., for head coach Dave Prather.
