  • Miller's homer lifts Wave Internet in seventh.

  • Luke Miller's home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning was the game-winning blow, as Wave Internet clipped Grisham Backhoe & Excavating 8-7 Thursday in Rolla Coed Softball League Middle Division action at Ber Juan Park.
    Tommy Martin had a homer and single for the winners while Bryon Poe homered. Bryan Furse had a homer, double and scored twice and Andrew Lott had a homer and single for Grisham Backhoe & Excavating.
    In other coed league games from Thursday:

    Middle Division
    Jarvis Home Improvement 10, Grisham Backhoe & Excavating 4: Mike Sparks had a pair of homers while Tyler Sinnott had a homer, double and scored twice and Beth Murdock had three hits and scored twice as Jarvis Home Improvement won. Furse and Lott both homered and Sarah Menary had a triple, single and scored twice for Grisham Backhoe & Excavating.

    American Home Builders 9, Jarvis Home Improvement 5: Felisha Richards had two doubles and scored twice and Jason Nixon had three hits and scored twice as American Home Builders won. Sinnott had two homers and Mikey Chambers doubled and scored twice for Jarvis Home Improvement.

    American Home Builders 21, J&S Small Engine Repair 6: Duane Spurgin had a homer and scored three runs and Kelly Dunn had two hits and scored four runs as American Home Builders won. Marc Mabe and Billy Rhodes each tripled and scored for J&S Small Engine Repair.

    Middle B Division
    Hi-Tech Roofing 19, Katie @ Tara Day Spa 2: Donny Roshan had four hits and scored three runs while Justice Wilson had three hits and scored four times and Sean Kelley had a double, two singles and scored three runs as Hi-Tech Roofing won. J Meurer and Tim Conger each tripled and scored for Katie @ Tara Day Spa.

    Katie @ Tara Day Spa 11, Central Missouri Sportscards 10: Katie Rask scored the winning run in the sixth inning as Katie @ Tara Day Spa won. Doy Graham had a triple, two doubles and a single for the winners while Jess Bohaty had two hits and scored twice. Brett Gresham had a grand slam and two-run homer and Jason Foster and Rachael Brich each had two hits and scored twice for Central Missouri Sportscards.

    Central Missouri Sportscards 13, Phelps County Bank 5: Jason Foster had a triple and single while Larry Chrisco had a single and scored three runs and Krista Limmer doubled, singled and scored twice as Central Missouri Sportscards won. Landon Freeman and Josh McBride each had two hits and scored a run for Phelps County Bank.

    Phelps County Bank 5, 4J Archery/Mike's Car Care 4: Blake Waterworth hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the seventh to lift Phelps County Bank to victory. Waterworth also singled and scored twice for the winners while Josh McBride had two hits and scored twice. Nathan Brown had a homer and single and Sheila Arthur had a single and scored twice for 4J Archery/Mike's Car Care.

    Lower Division
    Tater Patch 13, S&T Staff 10: Benie Gresham had a triple, two doubles and scored twice while Chris Kamprath had a double, single and scored twice as Tater Patch won. Don Howdeshell had a triple, double, single and scored four runs and Joel Goodridge had a double, single and scored twice for S&T Staff.

    Rolla Bombers 9, Misfits 3: Clint Underwood had a single and scored twice and Theresa Lathosa scored two runs as Rolla Bombers won. Jesse Coltner and Nate Wallen each had two hits and scored a run for Misfits.

    Party Pro 10, Benchmark Healthcare 9: John Butz scored the winning run in the sixth inning as Party Pro won. Butz had a triple, double and scored three runs for the winners while Bonnie Ranney had a homer, single and scored twice and Cathy Pryor had two hits and scored three runs. Justin Hackworth had a triple, double, single and scored three times and Trevor Higbie had a homer and single for Benchmark.

    Rev 29, Team Undecided 6: Maegen Shults had a homer, two triples, a double and scored four runs while Trevor Highbre had a homer, double, single and scored four runs and Tyler Powell had a homer, double, single and scored three runs as Rev won. Kenny Chase had a double, single and scored a run for Team Undecided.
