Wee Dig story time for infants to students in pre-kindergarten will take place Tuesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at the Rolla Public Library as part of the library's summer reading program.
Author Ann Ingalls will read her work "Ice Cream Soup" Tuesday, July 16, at 1 p.m. for grades kindergarten through three at the Rolla Public Library as part of its summer reading program. Pre-registrationn is required for this event.
Author Ann Ingalls will read her story of Mary Lou Williams's childhood in Pittsburgh, where she played the piano for anyone who would listen, Tuesday, July 16, at 2:30 p.m. for grades four through six at the Rolla Public Library as part of its summer reading program. Teens in grades seven through 12 are welcome to join author Ann Ingalls and have some fun with audience Tuesday, July 16, at 4 p.m. at the Rolla Public Library as part of its summer reading program.
The Phelps/Maries County Health Department is offering a free tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough (pertussis) vaccination clinic Tuesday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lions Club Den in Rolla. The clinic is open to all members of the community who are ages 11 years and older. Regardless of a person’s insurance type of coverage, this service is available at no charge. Individuals who have Medicaid services should bring their card. All others need to bring their up-to-date shot records.
Staff of U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt will host a listening post meeting Tuesday, July 16, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Phelps County Courthouse, 200 N. Main St. Rolla. Listening posts are intended for Missourians to share their questions and concerns during meetings with members of Senator Blunt's staff.
The German speaking Stammtisch group will meet Tuesday, July 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the Public House Brewing Company in Rolla.
