  • Spurgin goes 4-for-4 in American Home Builders win.

  • Duane Spurgin went 4-for-4 while Jarrod Grayson had three hits and scored three runs to pace American Home Builders to a 13-10 win over Jarvis Home Improvement in Rolla Coed Softball League Middle Division play June 27 at Ber Juan Park.
    Tyler Sinnott had a homer, two singles and scored twice and Mike Sparks had four hits for Jarvis Home Improvement.

    Middle Division
    Jarvis Home Improvement 12, J&S Small Engine Repair 3: Nick Petersen had a triple, three doubles and scored four times while Ashley Hoener had three hits and scored three runs and Sinnott had four hits as Jarvis Home Improvement won. Adam James tripled and scored for J&S Small Engine Repair.
    Wave Internet 40, J&S Small Engine Repair 9: Randy Gresham had a homer, three doubles, a single and scored five runs while Luke Miller had a homer, double, two singles and scored four runs; Sarah Duckworth had a homer, three singles and scored four times, and Travis Parsons had four hits and scored four runs as Wave Internet coasted. Marc Mabe had a homer, single and scored twice for J&S Small Engine Repair.
    Grisham Backhoe & Excavating 19, Wave Internet 14: Ben Menary had a homer, two singles and scored three runs while Lindsey Heimbaugh had three hits and scored three runs and Bob Clardy had a double, two singles and scored twice as Grisham Backhoe & Excavating won. Miller had a homer, single and scored twice and Parsons and Hoener each had two hits and scored twice for Wave Internet.
    Lower Division
    Missouri S&T Staff 6, Rolla Bombers 3: John Kean had two hits and scored twice and Jesse Singleton had a double, single and scored as Missouri S&T Staff won. Matt Bellue had a double and two singles for Rolla Bombers.
    Misfits 14, Benchmark Healthcare 7: Nate Wallen had a homer, double, scored three runs and drove in four while Bill McWilliams had a triple, single and scored twice as The Misfits won. Alesha Snodgrass had a single and scored twice for Benchmark Healthcare.
    Party Pro 13, Team Undecided 12: John Butz' single drove in Cathy Pryor with the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning, lifting Party Pro. Gabe Medina had a homer and three singles for the winners while Betsy Shockley had two hits and scored twice and Butz had three hits. Brandon Williams had two hits and scored four runs and Charles Cochran had three hits for Team Undecided.
    Page 2 of 2 - Rev 13, Tater Patch 3: Zach Lewis had a triple, double and scored two runs while Morgann Kleeschulte and Christian Santos each had a double, single and scored twice as Rev won. Lynn Davidson had two hits and scored a run for Tater Patch.
    Middle B Division
    Central Missouri Sportscards 9, Katie @ Tara Day Spa 8: Rob Hriber scored the winning run in the sixth inning as Central Missouri Sportscards won. Katie Curtis had four hits and scored two runs for the winners while Larry Chrisco had three doubles and scored twice. Travis Blunt had four hits and scored three runs while Doy Graham had a homer, triple and two singles for Katie @ Tara Day Spa.
    High-Tech Roofing 10, Central Missouri Sportscards 2: Dan Roshan had two hits and scored two runs while Sean Kelley had three hits as High-Tech Roofing won. Brett Gresham had two hits and scored a run for Central Missouri Sportscards.
    High-Tech Roofing 6, 4J Archery/Mike's Car Care 5: Megan Heimbaugh scored the winning run in the eighth inning to lift High-Tech Roofing to victory. Roshan had a homer, double and scored twice for the winners while Andrea Zalis and Justin Wilson each had two hits. Brandon Skyles and Sheila Arthur each had a hit and scored a run for 4J Archery/Mike's Car Care.
    Phelps County Bank 11, 4J Archery/Mike's Car Care 10: Travis Johns scored the winning run in the fifth inning as Phelps County Bank won. Landon Foreman, Brandon Johnson and Chad Snelson each had a hit and scored twice for the winners. Nathan Brown homered and Kevin Barr scored twice for 4J Archery/Mike's Car Care.
