  • The Community Partnership's Capable Kids and Families group will host Music Pups With Debbie, a music therapy program with Debbie Priesmeyer Tuesday, July 9, at 11 a.m. at 1101 Hauck Drive, Rolla.
    National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 722 will meet Tuesday, July 9. at noon at Penelope's Restaurant, 1049 Kingshighway, Rolla, for its monthly meeting.     Members of the Rolla Police Department will serve as "wait staff" from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Colton's Steak House & Grill in Rolla for the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser that will benefit Special Olympics Missouri. Patrons who dine at Colton's, located at 1675 N. Bishop Ave. in Rolla, can tip the officers serving as "wait staff" and 100 percent of tips received will go to Special Olympics Missouri.
    The Rolla Lioness Club board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, followed by the general meeting at the Lions Club Den. The general meeting is a quarterly closed business meeting, so please no guests.
    Wee Dig story time for infants to students in pre-kindergarten will take place Tuesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. at the Rolla Public Library as part of the library's summer reading program.
    Dig Into Reading story time for students in grades kindergarten through three will take place Tuesday, July 9, at 1 p.m. at the Rolla Public Library as part of the library's summer reading program.
    A teen zombie bash for students in grades seven through 12 will be held at the Rolla Public Library as part of its summer reading program Tuesday, July 9, at 4 p.m. There will be food, games, fun and a mysterious adventure.
