The Missouri Humanities Council provided a storytelling program called The Way We Worked for families at the Rolla Public Library.
Steve Otto, gifted storyteller, led the family program designed to engage children in books and stories. Participants learned about occupations of the past and received new books to add to their home library.
This program was partnered with the Smithsonian The Way We Worked exhibit now featured in the Rolla library. The exhibit provides families the opportunity to explore the theme of work and its impact on our culture. Photos in the exhibit are from Phelps and surrounding counties.
The exhibit is on loan from the Historical Society and Arts Rolla and will be located at the library until Aug. 1.
