  • Ozark Actors Theater in Rolla will present Neil Simon's "Fools" as the second show of Season 26, which has a theme of Fairy Tales and Fables.
    The play, directed by Jason Cannon, will have performances July 11-14 and July 18-21 at the Cedar Street Playhouse, 701 N. Cedar St., Rolla. Below is a complete schedule with times
    • Thursday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Friday, July 12, at 2 p.m.
    • Friday, July 12, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Saturday, July 13, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Sunday, July 14, at 2 p.m.
    • Thursday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Friday, July 19, at 2 p.m.
    • Friday, July 19, at 7:30 p.m.
    • Saturday, July 20, at 7:30 p.m.
    •Sunday, July 21, at 2 p.m.
    This is the first time "Fools" has appeared on the OAT stage. This romantic comedy features a cast of professional actors from New York, Florida, St. Louis as well as local talent from Rolla and St. James.
    Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for active military or groups of 15-plus (call the box office for group sales), and $12 for college students and children 17 and under. There are also family four-packs available for matinee performances.

    Brewer Science is helping to bring the play to Rolla by providing underwriting support for the production.
    "We are pleased to provide support for the cultural and educational opportunities the Ozark Actors Theatre provides to our region," said Terry Brewer, president and owner of Brewer Science.
    The 2013 summer season at OAT will continue with a one-night-only cabaret "Blane Sings Broadway" Monday, July 15, the popular annual talent show "Follies" Saturday, July 27, and Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods" running Aug. 1-4 and Aug. 8-11.
