Tony Cable, John Kohler, Tad Kardis and Amanda Bloom ran an 11-mile section from Newburg to Rolla in the One Run for Boston Friday.
Runners paid to take part and those funds will go to support the victims of the April Boston Marathon bombings.
The 3,300-mile relay, which crosses 14 states and four time zones, will end in Boston June 30.
The runners were escorted through the area by Phelps County Sheriff’s Department and Rolla Police Department patrol cars.
There is a GPS tracking device fitted to the baton carried by the runners, which update its location every 15 minutes, and racers can be tracked online at onerunforboston.org
