The Missouri Press Association announced the selections Monday. Induction is Sept. 6 at the MPA convention in Kansas City.

Edwin Q. White was at AP's Saigon bureau during the Vietnam War. He died last year.

Henry Childers spent 50-plus years to the Troy Free Press in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Bob Cobb was owner of the King City Tri-County News for 21 years despite a life-long battle with spina bifida. He died in 1997.

Jane Duncan Flink and her late husband owned the Boone County Journal in Ashland from 1986 to 2001.

Trenton Republican-Times publisher Wendell Lenhart was MPA president in 2001. His father was president 20 years earlier.
