Devin Campbell has switched from the Rolla High School girls' basketball program back to the boys' basketball program.
Campbell, a former RHS standout player, was the Rolla Junior High freshman girls' basketball coach last season. Previously he had served as an assistant coach for the RHS boys' basketball squad before leaving after the 2009-10 campaign for a teaching/coaching position at Salem High School.
This coming season Campbell will replace Doc Roberts as Mark Miller's assistant for the RHS boys' basketball team. Roberts, who had replaced Campbell as Bulldog boys' assistant in 2009, returns to retirement.
Another Rolla High assistant coach with Rolla ties has been hired.
Jessika Zink, a former softball standout and all-state track athlete at Iberia High School, will be Tim Dunn's assistant for the RHS softball team in 2013.
Zink played softball one year at Columbia College and was also a track athlete at William Woods College. She is the granddaughter of Rolla's Jess and Nancy Zink.
