  • Rallying for eight runs in its final two innings, Greentree Christian defeated the defending champion Jerome Apostolic Faith 10-8 Monday in the season-opening week of Rolla Church Softball League Men's Division at Ber Juan Park.
    David Duncan and Joe Gippenberger each had two hits and scored two runs for the winners. Andrew Lott had two hits and scored twice while Joel Goodridge had three hits for Jerome Apostolic Faith.

    Salem Avenue Baptist 22, First Assembly of God 11: Ron McClanahan had four hits and scored four runs while Terry Brookshire had three hits and scored three runs and Ryan Feeler had two hits and scored three runs as Salem Avenue Baptist won. Kevin Conway had three hits and scored three runs and Addison Conway had three hits and scored a run for First Assembly of God.
    Ridgeview Christian 11, Spring Creek Baptist 9: Kyle Henson had three doubles and scored twice while Joaquin Martinez ha two hits and scored twice as Ridgeview Christian won. Wes Parker had three hits and scored twice while Todd Dablemont had three hits for Spring Creek Baptist.
    Combined Division
    First Christian of Newburg 14, First Pentecostal I 9: Mike Kleeschulte had three hits and scored two runs while Morgann Kleeschulte had two hits and scored twice as First Christian of Newburg won. Matt Maylee had a triple and single and Tim Blackwell had two hits and scored twice for First Pentecostal I.
    Christian Fellowship 18, First Baptist 5: Nathan Chirban had a homer and scored three times while Dave Chirban had a homer, double and single and Leah Nesbitt had two hits and scored twice as Christian Fellowship won. A. Riley and Rob Hribar each had two hits and scored twice for First Baptist.
    First Pentecostal II 13, Methodist 7: Dakota Chapman had a homer, double, single and scored three runs while Dillon Bream and Chris Davis each had two hits and scored twice as First Pentecostal II won. Trevor Michael had two hits and scored twice for Methodist.
    First Assembly 17, Greentree Christian 13: Mark Berry had three hits and scored four runs while Jard Jordan had three hits and scored three times as First Assembly won. Justin Martin had a triple and scored three runs while Scott Robertson had a triple, double and scored three times for Greentree.
