In possible preview of district championship game.

In a possible preview of the Missouri Class 2 District 10 Tournament championship game next week, the Rolla High School girls' soccer team was shut out by Jefferson City Helias 3-0 in non-league play on Tuesday.
Rolla, ranked No. 7 in the Missouri Class 2 state poll, falls to 15-3.
"It's a tough game to play, when hopefully you advance past the semis and are able to have a chance to compete in the final and might see them in nine days," said RHS head coach Mike Howard. "We are trying to sort some things out right now as a team and hopefully we can come up with a good play for the postseason.
"But right now, I can tell you that I am not certain how we will go about trying to get past a strong Helias team. They finished third in the state (last year) and have a bunch of players back. They have a good coach, are organized on offense and defense and are very strong in the air. I didn't see a whole lot of weaknesses out there."
Helias also won the junior varsity game 10-0. The Rolla jayvee team falls to 3-6-4.

In semifinal games on Tuesday, May 14 Rolla faces Marshfield at 4 p.m. while Helias takes on Bolivar at 5:45 p.m.
The district championship game is set for 6 p.m. May 16.

The sectional survivor moves on to Class 2 Quarterfinal action May 25 against either the District 11 or District 12 champion.
