Ruby Mae Brown, of Newburg, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, at the age of 89.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1924, in Mill Creek, Mo. to the late Doris Reber Harris and Cora Bell (Brown) Harris. On Aug. 31, 1940, she married Charles Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brown, in 1986; a son-in-law, Wilbur Harris; sisters, Pearl Wright, Maudie Smith, Opal Harris and Mabel Fore; and brothers, William Harris, Paul Harris and Clarence Harris.
Ruby will be sadly missed by her surviving family which includes: two daughters, Hilma Moses and husband Harold of Webster Groves, Mo. and Mary Lynn Harris of St. Louis, Mo.; brother, Wilbert Harris and wife Gerry of Union, Mo.; sister, Charlene “Susie” Lewis of Doolittle, Mo.; four grandchildren, Katrina Harris, Andy Harris, Genise Reinheimer and Charles Moses; and three great grandchildren, Selma Harris, Levi Harris and Evelynne Mae Reinheimer.
A funeral service for Ruby M. Brown will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Null and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at noon.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Red Cross.
