Clarence William Sieg, of Rolla, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the age of 72.
He was born on November 4, 1940 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Walter Sieg and Francis (Ferrall) Sieg. On September 29, 1965, he married Addie Jane Woolsey who survives of the home.
Mr. Sieg was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served from 1960 – 1964. He was a member of the Cuba Masonic Lodge. He retired as Postmaster in Sikeston, MO and also served as an officer for the Rolla City Police Department. Clarence loved traveling and spending time with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Clarence was also preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Sieg, and two sisters, Opal Krote and Mary Sieg.
Clarence will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his wife, Addie Sieg of Rolla; two daughters, Pamela Sieg of Rolla and Kathy Daniel and husband Gerald of Oakland, TN; one son, James Sieg and girlfriend Jeannie Watkins of Cuba, MO; two brothers, Donald Sieg and wife Leona of Rolla and John Sieg and wife Beverly of Salem, MO; sisters, Irene Eagle and husband Paul Sr. of St. James, MO, Vivian Boccardo and husband Robert of Mesa, AZ, Mildred Stockton and husband Delbert of Apache Junction, AZ and Betty Williams of Rolla; three grandchildren, Chad Daniel, Melissa Petermann and Jeremy Sieg; and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Clarence W. Sieg will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Null and Son Funeral Home of Rolla. Rev. Dennis Bowman will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at noon at the funeral home.
