Freshman keeper Katie Hudson hurled another shutout for the Rolla High School girls' soccer team Thursday night.
Hudson blanked the Camdenton Lady Lakers to lift the Lady Bulldogs to a chilly, 1-0 Ozark Conference victory on Thursday. It was Hudson's eighth shutout in her last 10 games.
It was also the 11th straight win for Rolla, ranked No. 6 in the latest Missouri Class 2 state poll. The Lady Bulldogs improve to 12-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference.
Junior Aysen Malone scored the lone goal for Rolla, assisted by junior Nicole Howard.
"It was a nice win for us," said RHS head coach Mike Howard. "Camdenton is always well-prepared to play and they have one of the top players in the state in Whitney Snow. It keeps us on the right track in conference but more important we are able to go on the road twice this week and win both games in very difficult places to play."
On Tuesday Rolla won at Waynesville 2-1.
Thursday's junior varsity game ended in a scoreless tie. Sam Turner was in goal for the jayvee Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to host Visitation Academy at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on Kiwanis Field at the Bray Sports Complex.
