  • A Maries County sheriff’s deputy was injured while in a foot chase with a suspect Monday.
Tammy D. Hudson/Hart, 24, of Rolla, had been evading law enforcement agencies for months, according to Sheriff Chris Heitman.
Hudson/Hart was wanted for charges of stealing and drug possession, was later caught and arrested.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s department, Hudson/Hart was wanted for a felony drug possession charge out of Phelps County, a felony stealing charge out of Phelps County, and a charge of stealing out of the City of Rolla.
Sheriff’s deputies located Hudson/Hart Monday afternoon but when deputies attempted to arrest her, she fled on foot. During the foot chase, one of the sheriff’s office personnel suffered minor injuries.
Members of the sheriff’s office were eventually able to catch up to Hudson/Hart, who resisted as she was placed in handcuffs.
She now faces an additional felony charge out of Maries County for resisting arrest and was given a $20,000 bond for that charge. She was incarcerated in the Maries County Jail.
