  • Donations of boys clothes for Operation Foot Locker can be dropped off in the Rolla Junior High School main office, guidance office, or room 203 from April 15-19. New boys underwear, socks, and pajamas size 6-20 are in need.
    The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host a workshop to educate people and communities about the value of their public trees Monday, April 15, from 7-9 p.m. at the Havener Center, 1346 Bishop Ave, Rolla on the Missouri S&T campus. The workshop is free, but registration is required. Register online at rolla.bpt.me Light snacks and beverages will be provided.     Dr. Susan Curtis will present the lecture titled "Scott Joplin's Interview a Century Later: Composing an African American Cultural Legacy." It will be held from 3-4 p.m. Monday, April 15, in the Missouri Room of the Havener Center. Refreshments will be provided. The lecture is free and open to the public.
    The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive Monday, April 15, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Bond Clinic, 600 Blues Lake Parkway, Rolla.

    Laureat Alpha Pi meeting will be Monday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at Benton Square. We will have election of officers.
    Al-Anon meets at 7:30 p.m. every Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (lower level) located at 318 Scioto St., St. James.
