Charles Douglas Ray, of Rolla, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at the age of 37.
He was born on January 1, 1976 to Charles E. Ray and Theresa (Black) Ray Turner.
Doug was a Rolla High School Graduate and a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served from 1994-98. He was employed by the RR Donnelley Co. in Owensville, MO. Doug was an avid sportsman and member of the Rolla Moose Lodge.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes his father, Charles E. Ray, of Rolla; his mother, Theresa Turner, of Rolla; one sister, Christy Miller, of Rolla; two nieces, Taylor Skyles and Madison Miller, both of Rolla; special friend, Julie Carroll, of Owensville, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family members and many friends.
A funeral service for Doug Ray will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment with full military honors will follow in Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 1st at the funeral home.
