Jaime Alisha Rantanen of Florissant, Missouri was born May 14th, 1985 in Rolla, Missouri to Joseph and Sheryl Sandhaus and entered into everlasting glory on March 21st, 2013 at the age of 27 years, 10 months.
Jaime is a 2003 graduate Salutatorian of Rolla High School and a 2007 graduate of Greenville College, Greenville, Illinois. While in college she went on two missionary trips: one to Ivory Coast, West Africa and the other to Central Mexico. On May 26th, 2007 she married James A. Rantanen, a 2005 Graduate of Greenville College. They made their home in Florissant, Missouri, with their beloved dog, Lucy.
Jaime was the Youth and Family Minister for Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, in Hazelwood. She was instrumental in implementing the Kid-Friendly Family Worship Hour for the Families with children, so they too could find a place to experience and discover the wonder and love of God with all their exuberance. Her love of music found her in the Church Choir, and also playing in their handbell choir. An avid dancer trained at McCoy's Dance Studio in Rolla (where she also taught dance during her high school years) she continued to enjoy dancing at Dance Explosion in Florissant.
Jaime was preceded in death by her Grandparents Elmer (Sandy) and Alleene Sandhaus of Rolla, Newton Lippitt Formerly of Rolla, Uncles Carl Lippitt, and J.T. Sandhaus, Great Aunts Connie Cravens, Dolly Phillips and Cyndi VonKlingler.
In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her parents,Sheryl and Joe, her in-laws William (Bill) & Donna Rantanen of Watertown,Wisconsin, her grandmother Peggy Lippitt of Sunrise Beach, Missouri. Aunts and Uncles: Pati and John Sandhaus of Durango, Colorado; Diane Lippitt of Albuquerque, NM; Louvane Sandhaus-Cofer of Winnsboro,Texas; Henry & Irene Sandhaus of Hot Springs, AR; Dan & Ellen Sandhaus of Jefferson City, MO; Rob & Julia Sandhaus of Hattisburg, MS; Kathy & Tom Williams of Tulsa, OK; Karen Rantanen of New Berlin, WI, and Karen Shevet Dinah of Madison,WI; Roger VonKlingler of Laingburg, MI and Klea Roge of Milwaukee, WI.

Casey Friend, Chistopher Lippitt, and Caitlyn Lippitt with many spouses, and second cousins. Her bestest childhood friend, Kate (Netzler) Burch.
Services for Jaime Alisha will be held at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd 7380 Howdershell Rd. Hazelwood, MO. Visitation begins at 9am and continues to 11. At 11am there will be a Resurrection Celebration of Life Memorial Service, which will be followed by a lunch provided by the church. In lieu of flowers or plants the family asks that you give to Blood:Water Mission (facebook), Opportunity International (facebook) or IJM (facebook) in memory of Jaime.
