Things to do in and around Rolla today

The Immanuel Lutheran School will have a preschool and kindergarten roundup March 14 from 9-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. Come visit the classrooms and visit with the teachers.

The Rolla Presbyterian Women invite the community to a Lenten luncheon at the First Presbyterian Church March 14. Soup and salad lunches will be served at 11:45 a.m. for $4, it will be followed by a Lenten service from 12:15-12:45 p.m. Reservations may be made by calling the church office (573-364-3852) by Wednesday. The speaker will be Reverend Gary Stratman, Interim Pastor, First Presbyterian Church. All proceeds will benefit One Great Hour of Sharing.

There will be a light supper of pizza, an activity, and story telling hosted by the resource lab teachers.from 5:30-6:30 p.m. March 14 in the Mark Twain Cafeteria. The Meramec Regional Planning Commission will conduct a meeting Thursday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the MRPC office, located at 4 Industrial Drive, St. James.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Thursday at the Church of Christ on Highway E at the back of the church.
