Whether you are looking for ways to finance the expansion of an existing business or to open the doors of a new one, the Meramec Regional Development Corporation (MRDC) is hosting a free workshop for area entrepreneurs and lenders wanting to know more about financing options.
The workshop will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Meramec Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) office located at 4 Industrial Drive in St. James.
The workshop will feature a list of knowledgeable presenters from the Small Business Administration (SBA), Missouri University of Science and Technology Small Business and Technology Development Center and MRPC’s business loan department. There is no charge for the workshop.
Topics will include resources for small businesses, an overview of SBA 504 programs and new regulations, SBA 7(a) programs and updated regulations, SBA Delegated Programs, SBA Export Finance Programs and MRPC’s Revolving Loan Fund Program, Intermediate Relending Program and Microenterprise Loan Program.
Lenders, economic developers, business owners and realtors are encouraged to participate.
