  • The LCTC FFA Booster Club will have its annual silent auction and dinner, featuring pork steak or chicken breast on February 19 at the Knights of Columbus. Dinner will cost $ 10 per person and will be served from 5-8 p.m. All profits from the FFA Booster Club will help provide quality education opportunities for our FFA Chapter students. Funds are used to help pay for the cost of camp, travel expenses to National Convention, to provide scholarship opportunities and more.
     
    Chapter EM of P.E.O. will meet Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Jo Ann Anderson with Mary Wilkerson and Cheryl Koederitz as co-hostesses. The program will be the projects P.C.E., Cottey College, and ELF.
     
    The Phelps County Genealogical Society will have it's monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 in the multi-purpose room of the Phelps County Courthouse. The topic will be “the little known, but famous women of Missouri,” by Lawrence Christensen. A Ph.D. in History from the University of Missouri, Christensen has published more than 20 articles and co-authored and co-edited four books. The meeting is free and open to the public.     The Who’s New and You meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 11:30 a.m. at Penelope’s in Rolla. The program will be on the American Missouri Home Care. The menu will include meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a roll.
     
    Rolla Presbyterian Manor, located at 1200 Homelife Plaza, Rolla, will open its Art Is Ageless Exhibit in the community room from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Feb 18-21.     The Rolla Area Sheltered Workshop board of directors will meet Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Workshop.
