Betty Mae Benton, of Rolla, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at the age of 64.
She was born in Rolla on October 14, 1948 to the late Raymond M. and Mabel Edna (Leonard) Wagner.
On August 1, 1992 she married Larry Benton, who survives.
Betty had previously worked as an Avon Representative, real estate agent, and most recently as an office manager for Beltone Hearing Aids.
She was an active member of the Lifeline Baptist Church of Rolla.
Betty enjoyed selflessly giving of herself to her family and friends always putting others needs above your own.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Lemasters.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her husband, Larry Benton, of the home; four children, Bryan Lemasters and companion Kathy, of Rolla, Stacey Berry and husband Randy, of Rolla, Jamie Groshart and husband Jason, of Sedalia, and Steven Benton, of Cambria, IL; one brother, Bill Wagner and wife Linda, of Stockton, MO; three sisters, Patricia Brashear and husband Bill, of Waynesville, MO, Barbara Skelton and husband John, of Independence, MO, and Rebecca “Becky” Chapple and companion Jim Melton, of Lake Mary, FL; mother-in-law, Edna Benton, of Rolla; six grandchildren, Clara, Julia, Sarah, Riker, Bellaryen, and Isaiah; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service for Betty Benton will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14th at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
